Question of the week
I think that farming is important because if we don't have any farms we won't have a lot of food and I think that food will be really expensive to buy.My opinion is that we need farming so that we don't starve to death and if we have farming we can learn new things that we don't know. What do you think about farming? and you do you think that?

I agree steven that farms are important so people can as you said not starve to death.
ReplyDeleteI agree that farms are important and that we need them but have you thought about farm's running out of crops to grow and animals now that would be a disaster.:(
DeleteYou're right because we need food to grow and not die. and if we have food we can plant more food.

ReplyDeleteI agree because farms and farmers are important because with no food and no water what will we eat and we will die we can plant more food and help out.
ReplyDeleteI agree and think that farming is highly important and probably helps our Eco-system a little bit, or maybe a lot. A lot of the products in supermarkets start on a farm like bread, cake and cookies, etc... So if it weren't for farms, most of the yummy food might not be here. Well, you could grow your own vegetables and stuff. But STILL!!!
ReplyDeleteMy opinion is that we should have farms so we can eat health food instead of paying lots of money and we can learn things about the fruits and veges.
ReplyDeleteI think that if we had no farm,we would be dead,because farms have lots of good thinking for you,and even fat food,but its yum,and if we had no farm,some people of NZ would have no jobs,and ,the people that work there don't have some where to sleep,because its kind of like there home,if you don't know,some people sleep at farms...

ReplyDeleteWell first of all I think that farming is important to us and that if there were no farms that most of the food that we eat would be gone. I think that farming should stay because most of the food we eat comes from farmers making it. Why do I think that we I think that because if most of the food we eat comes from farming well then we won't survive for long. What I wanna know is that why do most of the food we eat comes form farms?

ReplyDeleteI agree because we need food to survive but if we wouldn't have farms we wouldn't have food from animals milk from cows and no farms the crops so we can replant them.
ReplyDeleteFarming in any society is very important as a food source. Without it there would be a lot of hungry people as many people don't know, or have the skills or the space to farm all the foods they need to eat. Some people try at home to farm certain things but generally they cant farm everything. Farming is very time consuming but it great to see that people all over the world attempt to farm and grow some things they need. With education and continued effort and resources, more and more people should be able to try farming small amounts of produce in their own backyard and experience the joys of growing food for your own use. There are also farm that are growing totally for pleasure. such as flowers. Some people like them and other hate them but its a matter of personal choice. Generally though farming is very important for any society as a way of producing food.
ReplyDeleteI think that traditional farming is really bad for our environment. Traditional farmers use a lot of chemicals and the chemicals like fertilizers damage our soils and waterways. I think that some industries mistreat animals as well. I'd like to see NZ a totally organic, free range farming country. Sometimes we need to put our health, the welfare of animals and our environment before our economy
