What's better ? Preventing a problem from happening or fixing a problem once it's occurred. Think about James' example . . . if you see a fist coming, do you move out of the way ? Or do you get hit and then get some ice? Which works best for your face? Which works best for your teeth? Which works best for you? Dodging the problem or putting ice on your bruise?

It's best to avoid something bad that will happen then to let it occur and deal with the consequences. This way you could prevent from getting in trouble and not have to get involved in a fight.
