Here we see three students reading a Journal article about native plants. They were able to tweet the school involved to ask them questions directly. Does this use of Twitter help them learn? What are they learning?
What I think is it does help us learn because when you tweet something based off your learning everyone can see and it is really helpful when people give really good feedback and you can learn off their comment and it shows you what to do next time.
I learnt a lot of things from twitter because on kidsedchat all of the schools share their ideas of the questions that get's posted and what they thought and make friends with other schools and classes.
ReplyDeleteI learn a lot of things from tweet deck because every Wednesday schools go onto tweet deck to answer kidsedchat questions,we get schools different opinions and ideas and make new digital friends.
ReplyDeleteAs a teacher, I use twitter to read check out new theories, new ideas and new teaching interests. I can use a hashtag to access a whole group of tweets about one topic. Then I can read up on what I've found and it usually leads me on to other things. I can talk to a whole wide community of teachers as well, both nationally and internationals. Twitter opens up a world of possibilities.

I think twitter does help me learn because I recently learnt how to post interesting comments with a limited amount of characters. I usually use Twitter to see what other schools are doing and to see ideas of doing projects.
