Swimming
This term's swimming begins on 23 February and runs for ten consecutive lessons until 7 March. We are lucky enough at NWS school to offer professional lessons through The Dean Greenwood Swim School. Our swimming pool is on our grounds and sessions are scheduled between 12:55 and 2:00pm. I hope you all take advantage of these wonderful lessons by remembering to bring your towel, togs and goggles. There are free swim sessions at school during the whole term if you're keen to have a play in the water. Check the classroom schedule.
Remember that there are a lot of water activities at camp. The more confident you are in the water the more fully you can participate when we get there.

Principal's Award
Here are the girls from Rooms 14,15 & 18 getting ready before assembly to read out their buddy's principal award. We'll done to our high achievers.
Learning Styles
Like most classrooms in NZ we use a variety of learning tools. We work together in pairs, as a whole, by ourselves and with a group - at a desk, on the floor, outside and inside. Learning doesn't come in one shape and size. How do you learn best?
